Unfortunately, due to uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and new variants, we are deeply disheartened to announce that the Summer STEM Institute (SSI) will be discontinued. SSI 2020 and SSI 2021 were both amazing programs, and our staff is very grateful to have been able to impact the lives of students around the world.

Over the weekend, students are encouraged to participate in the weekend challenge competition and submit an entry by Sunday evening. On Sundays, students can attend numerous research workshops which are hosted throughout the day. All weekend events are optional, though students are highly encouraged to participate.
SSI strives to accommodate for students in international time zones, and lectures and sections are replayed at separate time zones for students with time zone conflicts. If you are an international student with a time zone conflict, you may reach out to info@summersteminstitute.org for scheduling information based on your time zone.
